Texas Court Axes $2.5M Award Over Rockets Arena Sign

Law360, Chicago (August 29, 2013, 5:15 PM ET) -- A Texas appeals court on Thursday wiped out a $2.5 million award won by the owner of the Houston Rockets’ arena over an allegedly defective sign that was the centerpiece of its sponsorship by a Toyota dealership, finding there was scant evidence to support the judgment.
