DOT Rule Would Hand Enviro Review Power To States

Law360, New York (August 29, 2013, 2:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation said Thursday it wants to expand a program that allows states to assume its power to conduct environmental reviews of highway projects by letting all states participate and broadening the types of eligible projects to include railroads and public transportation.
