Developer Must Show Minimum Wage Docs, Ill. Town Says

Law360, New York (August 29, 2013, 6:55 PM ET) -- An Illinois village asked a state court Thursday to require developer CenterPoint Properties to provide documentation to show whether laborers involved in a decade-old transportation project set to generate tax revenue for the town are receiving the required minimum wage.

The village of Elwood asked the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois Chancery Division, to declare that the $1 billion project, known as the Deer Run facility, is subject to provisions and to order CenterPoint to provide all documents required under state law.
