9th Circ. Says It Can't Review Denial Of PACER Fee Exemption

Law360, Los Angeles (August 29, 2013, 6:18 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday refused to act on an appeal by two journalists with the nonprofit Center for Investigative Reporting over a lower court's denial of their request for an exemption from fees associated with online court database PACER, but the journalists' attorney said they are free to seek a new waiver because of a rule change brought about by the appeal.
