Deals Rumor Mill: AT&T, Microsoft, Blackstone

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 1:59 PM ET) -- Wireless giant AT&T Inc. will take a close look at Vodafone Group PLC's leftover assets after rival Verizon Wireless Inc.'s blockbuster to buy out the British carrier's stake in Verizon, sources told Bloomberg late on Thursday. AT&T could make a play for Vodafone's mobile holdings in a deal that could be worth as much as $124 billion, clocking in just below the $130 billion price tag believed to be attached to the Verizon transaction.
