PE Firm Westbrook Closes $213M Sale Of Midtown NYC Office

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 3:06 PM ET) -- Private equity firm Westbrook Partners has closed on the $213 million sale of a Manhattan office building to boutique family real estate company Eretz Group, a person close to the deal told Law360 Friday.

Eretz, led by local real estate mogul Abraham Talass, completed its purchase of the building at 295 Madison Ave. after securing $160 million in financing from SL Green Realty Corp., the person confirmed.

Westbrook reportedly paid $180 million for the 300,000-square-foot building in 2007.
