Murray Energy Unit, Gas Co. Trade Blows Over Trademarks

Law360, New York (September 3, 2013, 3:06 PM EDT) -- A gas company founded by former Chesapeake Energy Corp. CEO Aubrey McClendon and a Ohio-based unit of coal giant Murray Energy Corp. swapped lawsuits on Friday over the name of McClendon's new firm, which Murray claims unfairly competes with and infringes on its subsidiary's trademark.
