D.C. Circuit Revives Age Bias Suit Against PwC

Law360, New York (February 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A 63-year-old managing director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will get another chance to bring his purported class action against the accounting giant for allegedly engaging in a pattern of refusing to promote older employees.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit reversed a lower court’s dismissal of Harold D. Schuler’s complaint, finding that he satisfied the Age Discrimination in Employment Act’s state filing requirement.
