Insurer Can't Duck Arbitration Award After Untimely Filings

Law360, New York (September 03, 2013, 9:47 PM ET) -- A New Jersey appellate panel Tuesday ruled to uphold an arbitration award granted to One Beacon Insurance Co. from Excelsior Insurance Co., ruling that Excelsior’s failure to timely file its defenses in arbitration makes it partially responsible for defending a real estate developer.
