Law360, New York (September 3, 2013, 1:35 PM EDT) -- Verizon Communications Inc. struck a long-awaited deal over Labor Day to buy out Vodafone Group PLC's 45 percent stake in Verizon Wireless for $130 billion in cash, stock and other items.

The transaction, nearly a decade in the making, will give Verizon full control over its cash-rich wireless business.
