Mich. Lawmakers Sign Off On ACA Medicaid Expansion

Law360, Washington (September 03, 2013, 7:09 PM ET) -- The Michigan Legislature on Tuesday passed a bill expanding the state's Medicaid program under the Affordable Care Act, allowing Gov. Rick Snyder to sign the expansion into law after the legislation's narrow passage in the state Senate last week.

The state House voted 75-32 to pass a version of the bill — H.B. 4174 — as amended by the state Senate, after passing the original version of the bill in a 76-31 vote in June. The legislation will be signed into law by Snyder when he returns...
