NY Publishes 'Certificate Of Merit' For Foreclosure Attys

Law360, New York (September 03, 2013, 5:55 PM ET) -- New York's new law designed to protect foreclosure defendants from lengthy, costly and damaging litigation became a reality Friday after the state's court system published the 'certificate of merit,' which plaintiffs' lawyers must now complete before they bring suit.
