Lawmakers Must Help End FERC, CFTC Discord, Norris Says

Law360, New York (September 9, 2013, 8:18 PM EDT) -- The inability of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission to reach a congressionally mandated deal to collaboratively police U.S. energy markets will make it harder to ensure the playing field is level for energy consumers, according to FERC Commissioner John Norris, who told Law360 that lawmakers should step in to help bridge the gap between the agencies.
