Flood Of AIA Cases Puts USPTO Among Busiest Patent Venues

Law360, New York (September 16, 2013, 8:54 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office received 535 petitions challenging patents under two new America Invents Act programs in the past year, making the office the nation's third-busiest patent venue even as the number of filings could nearly double next year, USPTO officials said Monday.
