PhRMA Backs Increased FDA Drug Import Controls

Law360, Washington (September 04, 2013, 4:00 PM ET) -- The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America will support efforts by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to prescreen and sort drug importers for additional scrutiny based on risk, similar to the methods used in a recently announced pilot program, according to a comment made public Wednesday.
