LA Council Members Call For Fracking Moratorium

Law360, Washington (September 04, 2013, 6:40 PM ET) -- Two Los Angeles city council members proposed a ban Wednesday on all hydraulic fracturing and other controversial natural gas extraction processes in and around the city, claiming the activities are a “major threat” to the city's water supply, air quality and geological safety.
