Pa. Appeals Court Junks $14.5M Asbestos Verdict

Law360, Philadelphia (September 6, 2013, 3:04 PM EDT) -- A split Pennsylvania appeals court Thursday threw out a $14.5 million asbestos verdict against three welding products manufacturers, ruling that the trial court improperly admitted expert witness testimony stating that every exposure to the substance must be considered a cause of mesothelioma.
