Barnes & Noble Dodges Suit Over PIN Pad Data Breach

Law360, Chicago (September 6, 2013, 3:14 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Tuesday tossed a putative class action against Barnes & Noble Inc. over a security breach affecting PIN pad devices in 63 of its stores, finding that none of the plaintiffs had shown they were actually harmed by the incident.
