Google Offers New Fixes In EU Search Bias Probe

Law360, New York (September 9, 2013, 1:27 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. on Friday proposed new antitrust fixes to settle the European Commission's search bias probe after the competition watchdog rejected the Internet giant's first offer in the face of vocal concerns from rival technology companies.

The European Union enforcer gave Google another chance to settle the case in July after deciding that the company's first offer didn't adequately address its concerns that Google was undermining specialized search providers by promoting its own products.
