Deals Rumor Mill: Warburg Pincus, KSL Capital, OGX

Law360, New York (September 09, 2013, 1:14 PM ET) -- Washington lender Sterling Financial Corp. could have a buyer in Umpqua Holdings Corp., a financial services company that is nearing a $1.8 billion acquisition of the firm, Bloomberg reported on Monday. Sterling's private equity owners, Warburg Pincus LLC and Thomas H. Lee Partners LP, have been vetting bidders for the bank. Each of the investment firms holds a stake of about 21 percent.
