Apple-Motorola Smartphone Case May Reshape Patent Law

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 4:55 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. and Google Inc.'s Motorola Mobility Inc. will square off Wednesday in a smartphone dispute at the Federal Circuit, and attorneys say the outcome could transform patent law by making it more difficult to prove damages and obtain injunctions in patent cases, including on standard-essential patents.
