MoFo Agrees To Trim $23M Bill In ResCap Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 2:01 PM ET) -- Morrison & Foerster LLP agreed Monday to marginally reduce what is expected to be a nearly $23 million bill in Residential Capital LLC's New York bankruptcy proceedings, arguing that the attorneys' fees are a product of a complex case that has required several professionals.
Attorneys for ResCap agreed to cut $39,526 from its fees and expenses for services provided between May 2012 and April 2013 in order to avoid “protracted litigation” over the contested fees and expenses, according to court documents. U.S. Trustee Tracy Davis had...
