2nd Circ. Asks Conn. Justices To Clarify 'Good Tobacco' Law

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 2:33 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit on Tuesday put the brakes on R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co.'s appeal of a $24 million court win for a woman who claims smoking the company's cigarettes gave her throat cancer, saying the Connecticut Supreme Court must interpret an exception for "good tobacco" in the state's products liability law.
