Halcon Sells Off Oil & Gas Assets In $302M Deal Trio

Law360, Dallas (September 13, 2013, 8:00 PM EDT) -- Halcon Resources Corp. has reached agreements to sell off some of its noncore oil and natural gas assets in three transactions with unnamed private buyers totaling $302 million, it said Thursday.

Halcon said the land has proven reserves of about 21.2 million barrels of oil equivalent, 67 percent of which was proved developed. Of the proven reserves, 77 percent are oil and natural gas liquids that currently produce about 4,500 barrels of oil equivalent a day, the company said.
