Cuomo's Anti-Graft Investigators Warn Doubting Politicians

Andrew Cuomo's anti-corruption panel, which already has run into friction with lawmakers in Albany, struck a defiant tone at its first public hearing Tuesday night — and a top federal prosecutor urged the investigators to bring cases when they can.

Onondaga County prosecutor William J. Fitzpatrick, one of the Moreland Commission's co-chairs, pushed back against lawmakers who have said Cuomo's panel is unlikely to get anything done legislatively and those who have said the legislature could return the favor and investigate the governor....
