Ex-Jenner & Block Client Wants $4M Patent Fee Award Axed

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 8:10 PM ET) -- Patent holding company Parallel Networks LLC on Monday asked a Texas appeals court to vacate an arbitration award giving Jenner & Block $4.4 million in legal fees, saying the award was based on an unconscionable termination provision in the firm’s contingency fee agreement.
