Oracle, SAP Trade Secrets Feud Sent To Mediation

Law360, New York (February 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Software rivals Oracle Corp. and SAP AG have been ordered into mediation by a U.S. federal judge in an effort to resolve the companies’ bitter trade secrets feud.

Judge Martin J. Jenkins of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California referred the case to mediation during a status conference on Tuesday, less than two weeks after Oracle accused its German competitor of engaging in a far wider scheme of copyright infringement than originally thought.
