Customs Process Costing Travel Industry Billions, Group Says

Law360, New York (September 18, 2013, 7:26 PM EDT) -- Lengthy wait times caused by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection entry process is having "severe economic consequences" on the travel industry and costing the economy billions of dollars in potential revenue, a leading travel trade group told Congress on Wednesday.
