Hyatt Nets $60M For 451-Room Denver Hotel

Law360, New York (September 19, 2013, 5:53 PM EDT) -- Hyatt Hotel Corp. said Thursday it has sold the 451-room Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center to an affiliate of real estate investment and development company JMI Realty LLC for $60 million, while agreeing to license its brand name for the facility. 

Hyatt said in a statement Thursday that JMI Realty plans to renovate the hotel’s meeting spaces to attract clients seeking space for meetings, conferences and other large events. The building was purchased by Hyatt in 1997 for $47.8 million, according to a public records search....
