Google To Delay Waze Integration For UK Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (September 19, 2013, 5:33 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. has agreed to halt the melding of its business with mapping application developer Waze Inc., pledging to temporarily preserve Waze as a separate enterprise while the U.K.'s antitrust watchdog probes whether the Internet search giant’s acquisition of the company could have anti-competitive effects, the agency said Tuesday.
