FCC Handset Ruling Shafted Small Carriers, DC Circ. Told

Law360, Washington (September 20, 2013, 3:28 PM EDT) -- Three small wireless carriers asked a D.C. Circuit panel on Friday to vacate a Federal Communications Commission ruling that required them to provide hearing aid-compatible handsets to their customers, claiming the agency should have waived the deadline as it was impossible for any small carrier to comply with the agency's tight time frame.
