Calif. Classes Fight Chase's $300M Fla. Force-Placed Deal

Law360, New York (September 26, 2013, 6:02 PM ET) -- Homeowners disputing a force-placed hazard insurance arrangement between JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and Assurant Inc. in California multidistrict litigation said Thursday that a proposed $300 million settlement reached in Florida signs away their case for next to nothing and should be scuttled.
