CPUC Rolls Out Plan For Natural Gas Safety Violations

Law360, San Diego (September 23, 2013, 8:24 PM EDT) -- The California Public Utilities Commission said Friday it had finalized internal procedures for a citation program targeting natural gas companies that allows for penalties of up to $50,000 a day for each safety violation and puts a whistleblower system in place for utility employees.
