Rogers Pays $151M For Sverica's Pivot Data Centres

Law360, New York (September 23, 2013, 5:27 PM EDT) -- Canadian media company Rogers Communications Inc. will acquire a data center company with operations in western Canada from private equity firm Sverica International for CA$155 million ($150.8 million), the Toronto-based firm announced Monday.

Rogers expects to complete its purchase of Pivot Data Centres Inc. from Calgary-based Sverica in October. Pivot Data operates three data centers in Calgary and Edmonton with combined capacity of more than 130,000 square feet.
