Maxim, Volterra Settle Suits, Push $605M Tender Offer Close

Law360, New York (September 25, 2013, 1:37 PM EDT) -- Volterra Semiconductor Corp. said Tuesday it has settled shareholder litigation over its $605 million acquisition by Maxim Integrated Systems Inc., and has separately agreed to extend the tender offer to allow the deal to close in the fourth quarter.

First, Volterra agreed to disclose additional information about the deal to settle two shareholder lawsuits that said it undervalued the company.
