Brookfield Nets $192M From Rockrose For Downtown DC Digs

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 3:49 PM EDT) -- Rockrose Development Corp. has purchased a 383,000-square-foot office building in Washington, D.C., from Brookfield Office Properties for $192 million, HFF Inc., which represented the seller, announced Monday.

The building is an eight-story office property at 2000 L St. NW in the Golden Triangle area of the city's central business district, near four Metro Stations.

It is 96 percent leased to 31 tenants, including the nonprofit Federal Communications Commission-affiliated Universal Service Administrative Co., the Electric Power Research Institute and LA Fitness International LLC.
