Greenberg Traurig Again Beats Exec's $10M Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (September 26, 2013, 1:21 PM EDT) -- A New York appellate court on Thursday affirmed the dismissal of a former defense industry executive's $10 million malpractice suit against Greenberg Traurig LLP over allegations that the firm blocked him from selling company shares, finding there was no attorney-client bond.

In October, New York City trial Judge Eileen Bransten correctly ruled that Thomas F. Cusack, a former executive with American Defense Systems Inc., could not establish that the firm, which was counsel for the defense company, also represented him, a unanimous First Department ruling said....
