Insurers Ask JPML To Merge Electrolux Dryer Fire Suits

Law360, Philadelphia (September 26, 2013, 4:40 PM ET) -- A pair of insurers urged the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on Thursday to centralize nearly 50 pending cases alleging that dryers manufactured by Electrolux Home Products Inc. contained a fire-causing design defect after arguing that it would ease a contentious discovery process.
