Arms Treaty May Spell Changes In US Export Controls

Law360, New York (September 26, 2013, 10:36 PM EDT) -- Despite assurances from the U.S. State Department that the signing this week of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty won't lead to new U.S. export controls, attorneys say exporters should watch for potential changes to reporting requirements and procedures at the agencies that oversee the U.S. export control system.
