Deals Rumor Mill: Goldman Sachs, ANZ Bank, Power Assets

By Karlee Weinmann (September 27, 2013, 3:53 PM EDT) -- The private equity arm of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is nearing a deal that would give it a stake in state-backed Danish oil and gas company DONG Energy, Denmark's business newspaper Borsen reported on Friday. If the $1.45 billion transaction goes through, the New York-based bank would join a pair of Danish pension funds in acquiring about a 20 percent slice of the company. DONG has tapped Morgan Stanley and Nordea Bank AB to steer the sale, which could be finalized in the coming week....
