Lockheed, 11 Others Share $4B Army Contract

Law360, New York (September 27, 2013, 3:48 PM EDT) -- Twelve companies, including Lockheed Martin Corp., Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. and AT&T Inc., have snagged a piece of a $4.1 billion contract covering communication and transmission systems for the U.S. Army, the Pentagon said Thursday.

The contract is a firm-fixed price, non-option eligible multiple vendor award put out by the U.S. Army Contracting Command — Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Ill., according to the U.S. Department of Defense.
