Debt Co. NCO Shakes Customer's FDCPA Class Action

Law360, New York (September 27, 2013, 2:16 PM ET) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a putative class action alleging NCO Financial Services Inc. violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, saying that the company had adequately notified its customers of their right to dispute any charges or debts on their bills.

U.S. District Judge Jan E. DuBois granted NCO's motion to dismiss the case with prejudice after finding that NCO did not violate the provisions of the FDCPA in its letter to a debtor.
