UN Climate Report Gives Ammo To Greenhouse Gas Hawks

Law360, New York (September 27, 2013, 8:19 PM ET) -- A United Nations panel issued a report Friday saying industrial activity was almost certainly to blame for “unequivocal” changes in the global climate, as national leaders mull an elusive cross-border greenhouse gas abatement agreement.

The U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its most definitive determination yet that progressive temperature increases over the last three decades were caused by human activity and were not likely to reverse, and said that failing to bring down air emission concentrations from their "unprecedented" levels would invite cataclysmic weather events....
