Rocky Road Ahead For New CEQA Reforms

Jerry Brown on Friday approved reforms to the California Environmental Quality Act that will fast-track suits against the Sacramento Kings’ $447 million arena plans and limit infill project claims across the state, but lawyers expect to see challenges over the implementation of the new measure from environmental advocates who aim to make sure projects are subject to review.
