High Court Case May Give New Weapon Against Patent Trolls

Law360, New York (October 01, 2013, 10:08 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court's decision Tuesday to review whether district court decisions ordering sanctions against filers of "objectively baseless" patent suits are entitled to deference on appeal could give accused infringers a powerful tool to use against so-called patent trolls, attorneys say.
