ADA, Sex Bias Suits Top EEOC's 2013 Agenda

Law360, Washington (October 2, 2013, 1:28 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's litigation practices veered away from its public national priorities, with disability and sex discrimination emerging as the focus of newly filed cases, according to data released by Seyfarth Shaw LLP on Tuesday.

Seyfarth attorneys published in a blog post Tuesday their tally of the EEOC's filings from the agency's 2013 fiscal year, which ended Sept. 30, finding that more than one-third of the agency's lawsuits stemmed from the Americans with Disabilities Act and another third came from sex and pregnancy...
