5th Circ. Grants BP Reconsideration Of Deepwater Payouts

Law360, Los Angeles (October 2, 2013, 9:19 PM ET) -- BP Exploration & Production Inc. scored a victory in its long-running dispute over suits stemming from the 2010 Deepwater oil spill when the Fifth Circuit ruled Wednesday that a district judge's interpretation of settlement terms could be resulting in the payout of fictitious claims.
