LightSquared Seeks Delay Of Harbinger's $2B GPS Brawl

Law360, New York (October 03, 2013, 1:52 PM ET) -- Bankrupt LightSquared Inc. sought Monday to delay its owner Harbinger Capital Partners LLC's $1.9 billion suit alleging Deere & Co. and GPS makers withheld crucial information on spectrum usage in order to give it time to consider if it should intervene in the action.

Reston, Va.-based LightSquared said there is substantial overlap between Harbinger's claims in the GPS action and its own, but asked the bankruptcy court to stay the action for 60 days so it can focus on its Chapter 11 proceedings.
