Law360, New York (February 21, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A Pennsylvania state judge has given his blessing to eight miners seeking to press forward with their case against PBS Coals, more than five years after the group was temporarily trapped underground after a mineshaft flooded.
On Tuesday, Allegheny County Judge Stanton Wettick gave the eight miners and six others, who barely escaped, the go-ahead to pursue their claims, refusing to let PBS off the hook for the case involving Quecreek Mine.
