Sinclair Puts Up $115M To Acquire 4 TV Stations

Law360, New York (October 3, 2013, 6:27 PM EDT) -- Sinclair Broadcast Group has acquired four television stations from TTBG LLC for $115.3 million in cash, making the largest local broadcast network owner in the U.S. even bigger, it announced Thursday.

The acquisition expands Sinclair's presence in California, Nebraska and Iowa, with stations located in Fresno, Omaha and Sioux City, respectively. The broadcaster has grown rapidly, making dozens of buys throughout the U.S. over the past year, joining many industry peers who are also consolidating.
